Weekend Redux
So I’ve finally got a moment to sit down and write. Lisa hinted at violence if I failed to expound fully on the events of last weekend, so I figure it’s best to hedge my bets against that.
First of all, I want to note that Aztec Center finally has wireless (though it’s still technically in a testing phase). What does this mean? It means that now, I never have to leave this place. Starbucks, free wireless internet, starbucks, a couch… I’m set.
Anyway… This weekend was a blast. We all met up in LA (Studio City, technically…). Lisa and Mike were at Mike’s dad’s place in Huntington Beach celebrating a wedding, and I met them up in LA at Adelle’s. We proceeded to the Fox and Hounds Delightfully Appointed Small English Pub … the same place Adelle and I went when I visited her before. A good time was had by all. After that, we went to the nearby McDonalds for some food. There’s something about the Chicken McNuggets everywhere I’ve had them in LA … they’re impossibly dry. This phenomenon doesn’t occur anywhere else… in fact, San Diego McNuggets are quite delicious. We took the food back to Adelle’s and popped ina movie. Sleep followed. Lisa and Mike got up pretty early to return to Huntington Beach. Adelle and I visited Jamba Juice before she had to go visit her parents (who recently returned from Italy)… and I was on my way.
The rest of the week has been rather eventless thus far, though the end of last week was pretty cool … I was elected President of the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts Council, and I won the Outstanding Contribution to Student Government award at the Aztec Achievement Awards on Thursday.
Other than that… yeah. Updates later if I remember.
