Sing like nobody’s listening…
I was walking to class this morning, feeling pretty good (for getting four hours of sleep) and I was kind of mouthing the words being fed into my head by my iPod. People started looking at me funny. So I kept doing it. It was interesting, almost cathartic, to have that feeling that I was having more fun than the other people were.
I took my Economics test this morning, instead of Friday morning. It was pretty cool. The professor is Thai and cool. I have a feeling this is the first test she's ever administered. But it was ok. The tricky question involved factors of production of chocolate and watch.
So Kristina has my power adapter, which means I get to run my battery down and then take notes on paper (sooo last century...) Her iBook for some reason refuses to charge, and hopefully my power adapter remedies the situation ... she'd much rather spend $71 for a new adapter than $1700 for a new notebook.
I'm going to Sacramento this weekend to lobby legislators. The position of the group I'm going with (CSSA) is 'no student fee increases', which is entirely illogical and many of us plan on just talking to legislators in a realistic tone ... supporting necessary, reasonable, and predictable fee increases. I personally believe we should be paying a little more than 2% of the cost of our education .. but apparently the idea of actually paying for something is too much for some of the bleeding-heart hyperliberals here to comprehend. You get what you pay for, and if these people keep using money to 'diversify' my classes, I'll have a hell of a diverse class with no professor in it. Access takes a back seat to quality in my book... We shouldn't limit access, we should simply not spend $52 million a year on remedial classes that should be (and can be) taken at community colleges (or high school! who graduates without taking algebra!) at a much lower cost. Anyway, that's enough of that.
Lisa's here, and she brought me Starbucks (iced grande triple nonfat no-whip mocha). Shut up, it's easier to order down the boxes. Seriously.

Nice blog. I agree with your the quote. Did you mean dancing or dasing?
