welcome, viewers

So it's come to my attention that I have new readers of the blog. Welcome.

This also means that I get to update it more regularly now, which is something I really ought to do anyway. So I rant:

I've reaffirmed my belief that local news is bad for people. Tonights headlines: fire at a tortilla factory, and SUV in a pool in Florida, cheap gas zones, a French woman marrying her dead boyfriend, and a revealing expose of low-carb foods (of all the restaurants tested, only Subway had significant misstatements in their carbs). These things all affect me very strongly. Like Mars. Very important to my personal daily existence.

In other television things, NASCAR people are advertising Viagra (time to get a better car, buddy...), and there's this show called Karen Sisco on USA at 12:15 that looks amazingly terrible. I'm watching it now.

The cable went out, and I think I'm better off for it. I couldn't figure out the Karen Sisco show, so I won't really miss the end of it.

In other news, there's a new fraternity seeking colonization at SDSU. It's called Lambda Chi Alpha and is based on leadership. I'm investigating it. Will report later.

Looks like its about bedtime ... need to get up a little earlier tomorrow; Lisa and Mike are coming to Cuic with me for breakfast. Thanks, California taxpayers!
