Right. So, I haven’t blogged in a while, and now I have about an hour between classes, so I’ll try to fill in what’s been going on lately. Let’s go in reverse… Set the Way-Back machine for Friday night…
Dad came down Friday and took us (Mike, Lisa, Adelle) out to dinner. It was really good to see dad, and I think the dinner was enjoyed by all. Following the dinnner, Adelle, Lisa, their friends Jeff and Chris and I went to On Broadway. I suppose that previous statement could be expressed mathematically as [((Lisa+Adelle(Jeff+Chris))+Me]. I’m a nerd. Anyway, it was great to go out … we had a lot of fun, and it was really nice having Adelle down here again. It was also rather neat meeting and talking to Jeff and Chris. Plus the $5 admission wasn’t too bad. I wish the DJ spun more than deep house (boom-boom-boom-boom). I want to go back Feb 25, when DJ Ferry Corsten (Dutch superstar!) is going to be there.
Before last week, things are kind of a haze of busy-ness and chaos as 34,000 students came back to school and tried to cram themselves into about seven course sections. My schedule for this semester isn’t too bad, though it starts kind of earlier than I’d like (9 am). I’ve got National Security Policy, Nuclear Security, Conflict and Conflict Resolution (group madness, etc.), World Economic Problems, and Accounting. Yep, Accounting. Also have a superfun 1-unit Geography lab. If I miss a class session, I fail. I need it to graduate. Go me.
On the upside, I’m finally taking classes in my major, and they’re all pretty interesting.
Umm… I watched the Superbowl sporadically, and the people I was watching with were angry that the cat-people-team lost. And what are the odds that the kicker guy for the other team would make the field goal? Weird.
